Fancy a bus ride? On the road with the historic bus. Mainz has gained another attraction. The 637 model (articulated bus) has been taking interested guests through the city to places worth seeing since September 2018. This offer has been made possible through the cooperation between Traditionsbus Mainz, mainzplus CITYMARKETING GmbH, and the guest guide association Mainz.
The 637 model drives to historical and interesting sites in the city centre and in Mainz districts up to the Laubenheimer Höhe with a distant view of Hessenland and Mainhattan. Mainz tour guides accompany the guests and explain the sights during the journey. The journey in the bus can be booked for public tours as well as for individual tours with mainzplus CITYMARKETING GmbH.

Meeting point: Mainz main train station, stop D next to Hotel Hammer
The city tour in the Gutenberg Express takes you past the most important sights through narrow streets in the nostalgic train, with the option of getting on and off individually at the stops. The journey starts regularly at Gutenbergplatz, but you can also board individually at the other stops.
