Your mainzcardplus gives you free travel on all forms of public transport in Mainz/Wiesbaden (fare zone 6500). Valid for three days until the end of service on the following day. Please note: When purchasing the digital mainzcardplus in the online store, a ticket must be validateted at the KombiTicket-Portal of Mainzer Mobilität on the first day of validity before you start your journey.

It depends on the services you intend to use. The mainzcardplus already offers numerous benefits and is therefore particularly attractive for visitors who want to make extensive use of the city’s wide range of attractions. There are no additional discounts on the card price for specific groups (e.g. students or seniors).
However, for families and groups of friends, the group version of the mainzcardplus (up to 5 people) is often a good option.
The mainzcardplus is the official tourist guest card of the City of Mainz and is issued by mainzplus GmbH. By purchasing the mainzcardplus, cardholders acquire the right to use the services listed in the respective product description during the validity period.

The respective product and distribution format is determined by the booking or purchase. In the case of digital purchase, the mainzcardplus is provided as a PDF by email after completion of the order process. Upon provision of the digital card, the service shall be deemed rendered
Your mainzcardplus is valid for three consecutive calendar days. The start of the validity period must be specified at the time of online purchase. For the printed version, the start date must be entered in writing before the first use of any service. The start date is binding and cannot be changed after online purchase or after entry on the printed card.
The services may be used within the validity period in accordance with the respective terms and conditions of the service partners. There is no entitlement to specific opening hours, availability, or performance of individual services. The services included are those published at the time of purchase.
Free admission and discounts apply exclusively to the institutions listed in the service overview. Separate arrangements may apply for special exhibitions or special events. Participation in included guided city tours is only possible with prior registration. Existing discounts cannot be combined with the mainzcardplus. Cash payment of services or price advantages is excluded.
Services are redeemed by presenting the mainzcardplus (printed or digital) to the respective service partners. The partners are entitled to verify validity by visual inspection or by scanning the QR code.
The mainzcardplus with public transport ticket entitles the holder to use public transport within fare zone 6500 (Mainz/Wiesbaden) in accordance with the applicable conditions of carriage and fare regulations of the respective transport provider.
For the printed mainzcardplus, the card serves as a valid travel ticket within fare zone 6500 when properly personalized and used within the validity period. Before commencing travel, the card must be completed with the start date and the names of all travelers and must be presented together with an official photo ID upon request.
For the digital mainzcardplus, activation of the public transport ticket via the designated KombiTicket portal is required prior to the first journey. The digital mainzcardplus itself (PDF or app display) does not constitute a valid travel ticket. A valid ticket is only available after proper activation via the KombiTicket portal.
The group ticket is valid for a maximum of five persons. One card is issued per group. The group must appear together in order to use the services. Group services may only be redeemed once and collectively.
Where required, the mainzcardplus must be completed with the start date and the name(s) of the authorized person(s) before first use. The card is non-transferable. An official photo ID may be required when services are redeemed.
In the event of loss of the mainzcardplus, there is no entitlement to replacement. In cases of misuse, service partners are entitled to confiscate the card. There is no entitlement to compensation in such cases. Unused or partially used mainzcardplus cards are non-refundable.
mainzplus GmbH is not liable for the performance of services by the respective partners. The terms and conditions of the respective provider apply to the use of services. In the event of cancellation of individual services due to force majeure, short-term closures or organizational changes, there is no entitlement to compensation.
German law shall apply. Place of jurisdiction is Mainz, to the extent permitted by law.
