...or "Of the trade with the wine and the pig". A Mainz specialty, long forgotten, is the Jambon de Mayence. During a walk through the old trading city of Mainz, we tell the story of this cured ham, which for centuries was exported on a large scale to Paris. Only since 10 years has it been produced and marketed once again based off of old recipes. Of course, you may test the quality of the ham for youself at the end in a wine tavern.
