The wine town of Mainz is located in the largest wine-growing region in Germany, Rheinhessen. Take a walk with our guide through the vineyards of Mainz to an open air wine tasting: try different types of wine under the guidance of a vintner and enjoy the wide view over the countryside. The 20 km long bike tour focuses on relaxed cycling. During the ascent, the participants are given the opportunity to push the bikes without excessive haste. In the Bacchus-Speicher winery - which is located in the middle of the vineyards - you can take part in a tour around the venue with a 3-glass wine tasting, ample water, and pretzels. The tour ends once more on the banks of the Rhine near the Mainz town hall.
