Gutenberg Museum - The World Museum of Printing

Chagall windows of St. Stephen's and old city centre

The tour begins at St. Stephen’s Cathedral with the world-famous Chagall windows. It is Marc Chagall’s only sacred work in Germany and his last major art project. The nine windows symbolise hope and Jewish-Christian solidarity. The tour then continues through the old town with its half-timbered houses.
